What a cookie is, briefly

A cookie is a small piece of data a website can ask your browser to store, then read back on a later visit — used for things like remembering a preference, keeping you signed in, or, in the case described below, checking that a form submission is coming from a real visitor. Not every site needs one, and this one currently uses cookies for exactly one purpose.

Where this site is hosted

niratalent.com is hosted on Cloudflare’s network. Hosting itself doesn’t set cookies in your browser; it’s the delivery infrastructure the site runs on.

What we don’t set

As of the date at the top of this page, this site sets no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no tracking cookies. There is no cookie consent banner or consent-management tool on the site, because there is nothing here that requires your consent to be sought that way.

Cloudflare Turnstile

The one third-party script the site runs is Cloudflare Turnstile, which appears on our enquiry, talent application and quote request forms. Turnstile is an anti-spam challenge that checks a form submission is coming from a genuine visitor rather than an automated script. To do that, it may set its own cookie or use browser local storage. We don’t control what Turnstile stores beyond enabling it on our forms; Cloudflare’s own documentation covers what it sets and why.

Controlling cookies in your browser

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Because Turnstile is what stands between our forms and automated spam, blocking its cookie may mean a form declines to submit until you allow it — that’s the trade-off, and it applies to that one script rather than to the site as a whole.

If this changes

We expect to add analytics at some point to understand how the site is used. If and when we do, this page will be updated to describe exactly what is set, by whom, and for how long — before it happens, not after.
